同学们在使用worth, worthy和worthwhile这几个同源词时，经常因为各自的词性没分清而导致其搭配内容的形式出现混淆：

worth （adj. / prep. / n.） 值得… …的；价值… …的；价值

The question is worth thinking over.

The comics industry（动漫产业）is worth over 5.3 billon yuan.

Your suggestion is worth our consideration.

To be a genius（天才）is worth the high personal cost.

If the antique（古董）is not in good condition, it will not be worth anything.

After his relentless insults（无情的辱骂）, I know the true worth of his relationship.

be of … worth    有… …价值的  

Higher education／Advanced education（高等教育）is of great worth to your future life.  

worthy   （adj.）   值得的、有价值的 （作表语、定语）不用于表金钱，而是表示某事、某物值得做，或适合做

be worthy of + n.／pron.

be worthy of + being done = be worthy to be done  

be worthy to do  

The new proposal is worthy of our consideration.

The new proposal is worthy of being considered.

The new proposal is worthy to be considered.

worthwhile  （adj.）  有价值的

It be worthwhile (for sb.) to do     值得（某人）做某事

It be worthwhile doing

It is worthwhile to consider the proposal.

It is worthwhile reading the fiction.
