The table demonstrates the consumption of fllfat and low-fat milk as well as butter for a variety of
age groups in a European nation.
As for milk consumption with the 25 and under age group, youngsters tend to consume the least
amount of milk at around 1.2L while drinking the highest proportion of fll-fat milk at 59%. The 65+ age
group consumes the most milk, at around 1.8L as well as the secondHargest proportion of low-fat milk
at 70%. With respect to the 25 45 and 45-65 age groups, their consumption is almost equal. However,
the latter consumes the largest proportion of low-fat milk at 80% whereas the former has a relatielly
even split between low and high-fat milk consumption. .
Regarding butter consumption, the 45-65 age group consumes the most, at around 60g, while having
an even split between full-fat and low fat butter. Moreover, the 25 and under age group intakes the
least butter at around 12g and around 60% of the consumption is fll-fat. The 25-45 and 65+ age
groups eat 19g and 30g of butter, respectively, while fll-fat consumption is 38% and 49% for each
group.
