1.开头段

The map illustrates the development of...over...years.

The map/picture shows the changes of...from...to...

2.主体段

(1)替换

A replaces B.

B is replaced by A.

A takes up/occupies the place of B.

A is turned into/converted into/changed into/transformed into B.

(2)拆除

A disappears from...

A is removed/demolished/dismantled(from..)
