2021年对于雅思考试而言，又是风雨飘摇的一年。由于疫情的不稳定性，雅思考试也屡次受到影响，不得已出现了临时取消考试，再临时加考的情况。所以，今年的考情数据就往年而言大有不同。我们一起通过数据来解读一下2021年雅思笔试考试的大作文情况。（本文所有数据来自网络中的考试回忆，请酌情参考。）
2021年全年笔试居然举办了61场之多，这个是史无前例的。相当的月份都是五场考试，而九月，十月和十二月每个月居然有六场笔试。估计这主要是因为部分考区受到疫情影响会取消或者延迟考试，进而不得已增加场次。也因此，更多的考题得以揭开神秘的面纱。
一， 从题型分布来看
如图所示，2021年的题型分布和往年数据并没有很大的出入，仍然是以“同意与否”题型为主，随后是“双边讨论”题型。这两种题型常年占据年度题库的前两名。相比之下，其他题型出现的频率仍然不高。这也就在题型角度为大家的备考重点指明了方向。
二， 从话题分布来开
毫无疑问，教育类和社会类的话题仍然是大作文写作的主要话题分类。而环境类和科技类也的确出现了六次和五次，但同全年的61道考题相比，就谈不上常见了。2021年全年出现了三个“抽象类”话题，分别考察了幸福感，成功以及音乐是通用的语言等三个抽象概念。这对比往年数据而言，的确值得大家注意。
三， 再谈谈“极端词”的出现
众所周知，大作文题干中一旦出现“极端的表达”，那么全文的论述逻辑尤其是最后的结论都会受到不小的影响。所以，审题阶段对于“极端词”的判断尤为重要。2021年全年考题中，most并没有出现，但是best出现了4次，其中3次表达极端，1次与极端表达无关。Only一词也是如此。Every出现了两次，一次是极端表达，一次不是。而all共出现4次，其中只有一次表达意思比较极端。（具体题目请参考后文年度题库）
