I’m going to talk about my neighbor who really enjoys sharing things.

If my memory serves me right, we’ve known each other for a while, like, maybe 2 years, since he moved in our apartment building. I still remember that day when he knocked my door, inviting me to his house warming party, which was a little bit unexpected and unforgettable actually. While I was stepping into the door, other neighbors were there too, so I thought, wow, he’s such a party animal.

You know, at the party, it turned out he really likes sharing things he had experienced. Like, since he’s been to many places around our country, he were talking about customs and people’s diet in different places. Besides, he’s also the kind of person who gives the impression of being quite humorous. He has tons of jokes to share and he can always make people around him burst into laughter.

Personally, I really adore our friendship. How can I put it, every time I stay with him, when he told me his experience, he really opens me up. He really makes me reflect that I should start to try something new and fresh. If time permits, I will go for a trip with him this year.

Describe a trip you plan to go on in the near future

A trip that I’d like to have is to visit our capital city Beijing. It’s a popular domestic travel destination, which is located in the north of our country. It’s an ancient city with rich culture, a long history and hundreds of historic relics, historical sites and tourist spots.

Actually I’m going to go with a group of keen travelers, who have been to many beautiful places in the world. And having a trip to Beijing have been on our bucket list for a while, so the trip will be exciting.

I think we will have a nice getaway there. Like, we will be taking a sightseeing bus around the city. Those historical sites, like the summer palace, the Forbidden City and the great wall, are really appealing to me. Besides, personally I’m a foodie, so I plan to pay a visit to some foodie gems. It would be an amazing thing to have some culinary delights together with my friends.

As to the reason why I’ve been expecting to be there, in my opinion, it’s a metropolises worth a visit. Though the traffic jam would be a disaster and the air’s not so good, I still yearn for an experience there. I feel every Chinese should be there for once at least.
