书信的重要性：

1.虽然人们会用手机联系，会通过电脑发邮件，但是正式的场合，比如正规的商业往来或者郑重的情感表达，人们还是倾向于用信件来表达。Although people use mobile phones to communicate，on formal occasions such as formal business contacts or solemn expression of emotions, we tend to express these in letters.

2.在欠发达地区，人们还不是很容易接触到新技术，如手机和电脑，写信仍是传递信息最简单的方式。In underdeveloped areas, people do not have access to new technologies such as mobile phones and computers. Writing letters is still the easiest way to deliver information.

3.写信具有很强的美学价值，这种价值是贯穿在社会文化之中的。这解释了为什么某些名人的书信会保存在博物馆里。因此，只要文化存在，书写这样的传统不会消失。People emphasize its aesthetic value, which is virtually woven in the warp and weft of culture. This might explain why some letters written in ink by some celebrities and the distinguished are exhibited in museums. Hence, such a tradition as writing letters will not extinct in case the culture is ongoing.

Clubs of traditional writing in schools are common. In fact, both government and civil society organizations are holding competitions on these skills.
