那些考官喜欢的小词儿—副词
副词表示不同程度的状态和情感态度，用对了就是加分词汇！很多词汇可以用于回答雅思口语常见话题，如 incredibly, hugely, amazingly, extremely, surely, greatly, ultimately 等。
你看，王妃谈到早期教育和对自己孩子的关怀时候用了两个副词。 ‘While of course I care hugely about their start in life, this ultimately sells the issue short. ’ 这里的 hugely 指 ‘very much, to a very great extent’！如此生动且简洁地体现了她对孩子的爱。ultimately 指最终，但是和finally不一样的是，有明显的个人情感。

Is it good to be talkative?
Sample answer: Not necessarily. It hugely depends on the occasion. If you’re on some formal occasions like wedding or awarding ceremony, it is generally considered rude and irritating to talk too much since it might prevent others from focusing on some important speeches. However, if you’re at a boring party, you can strike up a conversation or liven up the party. In cases like this, being talkative is a positive personality trait.
How should parents encourage their children to talk more?
Sample answer: You really got me. Maybe the most direct and effective way would be that they become role models for their children? What they do hugely impacts their children’s behaviour. I mean, they can engage their kids in some activities like story-telling or sharing daily experiences. And in such activities, they lead by example. Their kids will gradually step out of comfort zone, which ultimately helps them to talk more and become someone talkative.

这时候当然不能只会一个单词 help，王妃就给了我们一个很生动地道的短语——reach out。Reach out 的意思是 “伸出援助之手”。

Sample answer:
Sure, I’ll lend a helping hand to those around me in times of trouble. For example, when some neighbors at their old age are carrying something heavy or doing household chores, I will reach out to them.
另外，这段发言中的 offer a listening ear 指的是“倾听”，可以用于一些和交谈相关的话题回答哦！
What communication skills does a talkative person need to have?
Sample answer: Surely, a talkative person needs to be extroverted and is willing to share things with others. However, aside from this, he or she also needs to be good at listening. They should offer a listening ear to those around them, as it not only allows them to understand what others truly ask for but also shapes them into someone more compassionate and empathetic.
最后，她谈到了人们对孩子早期成长阶段的关注，用了take an interest in。
原文:If we only expect people to take an interest in the early years when they have children, we are not only too late for them, we are underestimating the huge role others can play in shaping our most formative years too.

Sample answer: Definitely not. Different people have different definitions of success, so you can say, in some ways, this all stems from what they want or what they are craving for. Take those struggling below the poverty line for example, they might think they already achieve success if they meet their basic need of food, clothing and shelter. However, the same cannot be said about those who already earn their fame and fortune. For them, what they crave for and what they associate success with might be something like love and devotion from their loved ones, cos as far as I know, some of them were neglected or even abandoned by those who they deemed near and dear to their hearts in formative years.
