part3的本质是一个discussion(讨论)。多数时候Part 3的问题与 Pan,所考卡片的话题有关,但有的题目也可能会离开(deviate from)卡片的话题。其实部分和Part1的深层区别就是更加“博爱”:Part1的多数题是关于"you/your life而Part3的多数题目则是关于"people","society"或者"your country",甚至"the world,global issues".

既然是discussion,那么Part 3在语言上就必然有下面三个特点:

*会用到很多表示逻辑关系的连接词。不过大家尽可以放心的是:本书已经为您总结出了雅思口语乃至海外日常口语里所需的全部常用连接词.

*会要求考生的答案比Part1和Part 2更正式一些,无论从用词还是从内容都会比口试前两部分更加 formal。

* The good news is there's no need for you to make it as formal as a jobinterview.毕竟Part3还是考口语水平而不是考写作能力,所以Part3的答案也不必过难,而且Part3考题与雅思作文题的难度相比还是有一定差距的。

比如《剑9》Test3的Part2卡片话题是a journey,相应的Part3就出现了下列问题

*What do you think people can learn from travelling to other countries?Why?

*Can travel make a positive difference to the economy of a country?How?

*Do you think a society can benefit if its members have experience of traveling to other countries?In what ways?

很显然,这些问题与IELTS 写作里面 tourism 的利弊话题有相似之处,但要简单一些。

再比如,《剑9》Test 2的 Part 2卡片话题是 something you did that was new or exciting,相应的Part3就出现了:

Why do you think some people like doing new things?

What problems can people have when they try new activities for the first time?

Do you think it's best to do new things on your own or with other people?
