BORROW 1

To  be  honest , I’m not that kind of person  who  likes to  borrow things  from other people .I feel too embarrassed to ask for help . There  was however  one thime that I borrowed something really useful  from a friend.

About two weeks ago  ,I had a class presentation  about the World  Geograpgy .I spent  a  lot of time to prepare but was still quite nervous .So I decided to  write  down keywords on  some cue cards .

As I was practicing  the  speech  ,my hands  were  shaking and the  cue cards often fell off, which just made me  even more nervous .

My friend  Eric  felt sympathetic for me and suggested that I could try something else ,thus giving me his Ipad  mini.

It was a white  table device ,with retina display and was very handy .Eric taught me how to use it very patiently .

Firstly , we typed in the keywords in an  APP called Keynote ,for making slide-shows .Secondly ,I adjusted the word size and added some highlights to remind myself of the important parts in the presentation .It worked kinda like a

teleprompter .What’s more ,I also tried the recording APP to recerd my vice ,trying to make the speech  better.

By borrowing Eric’s Ipad mini ,I felt much more confident for my preparation.

Thanks  for this Ipad mini teleprompter ,I did a perfect sppech  on  my presentation day .I held it with one hand, and swiped the Keynote slide pages using  my thumb .No more shaking .No more nervousness.

After the presentation ,I took Eric to have a big dinner ,thanking  him for  lending me such a useful device .I even thought  of buy one myself in the future!
