1. Do you often write many emails?
Yep, I have to use email because nowadays in China, email is getting more and more widely accepted as a major communication tool, which is quite different from the past, when most Chinese people mainly used telephones and cell phones.
2. How often do you write an email?
I have to say that I write emails on a regular basis because emailing is the major communication tool in a working environment, say, the company I work for now.
3. Whom do you often write to?
I sent out emails to my peers, my colleagues, and my supervisor, who is pretty demanding to a point where I might have to reply my email instantly.
4. Is email popular in your country?
I have to say that email is getting more and more popular comparing with the past, when most Chinese working people only use telephone and cellphones. The reason of the switch, I suppose, is that foreign companies bring in the habit of emailing and that gradually spread out.
5.What are the differences between emails and letters?
There are two fundamental differences I can think of right now. The first one is that, means of medium, letters are written on paper and sent out by post while emails are mostly written on a computer and got sent by the internet. The second difference is, speed, as you might have experienced, emails are way faster than letters
6. How do you feel when you receive a letter or email?
To be frank, excitement and stressfulness are the two common feelings I might have. I feel excited if my supervisors send me an interesting project. However, I would become pretty stressful when the task sent by my supervisor turns out to be complicated or tedious and comes in with a firm deadline.
